The June session is over for me. I hit 50,800 words this morning and validated my novel. Now I just need to do some editing and rewriting on Brigitte’s Battle so I can release it to those of you who have been clamoring for the sequel to Chantal’s Call.
But first, some calamine lotion – after all that thrashing around in a literary forest, I have a ton of bug bites and what might be poison ivy.
Next step: Draft the outline for Sue’s Salvation, Book 3 in the Women of Atherton series and my August camp session novel. Come November, I’ll either be working on the draft for Helene’s Hope, the final book in the series, or Break and Reverse, the third book in my yet-to-be-published Chronicles of Elathe fantasy series. Haven’t decided which way I’m going yet. But whatever I decide, I foresee finger cramps in my future…
aww.
i hope your itches get better.
Thanks, Lilian. The only real itching I have right now is my peeling sunburn from too long a stay in the pool the other day.
Well, that and my itching desire to get back to my novel. Since I need to run an errand or two, I’ll have to wait a little while to scratch that itch.
Congratulations! Well done!
Thanks, Carol! I must admit I was a NaNo rebel this time around. I wrote the rest of an already-started novel rather than beginning from scratch. Still, a completed draft is a completed draft, and I have no qualms about claiming my merit badge.
