My first book signing – a successful event for me and my hosts, Shelby Bennett and Joe Dube’ at the Wicked Little Cafe & Bakery in Long Beach, MS.
We had a steady stream of traffic, including regulars of the cafe, friends I haven’t seen in a long time, a couple of relatives who are getting ready to move out of state but wanted to stop by before they vacate, and some other folks who saw my press releases. I got a good start on an email list and sold 10 copies of Chantal’s Call, a full third of the inventory on hand.
Yay, God! Thank You!
And thank you to everyone who stopped by and purchased a copy; you made my day. Stay tuned for Brigitte’s Battle , the second book in the series. Even though the excerpt in the back of Chantal’s Call says it’s due to release next March, you won’t have to wait that long (barring unforeseen circumstances).
Speaking of which, I need to do some noveling. Talk to y’all later!
Congratulations!! A great day.
Glad you had a good day!
Thanks, Sophie and Sheila! It was a lot of fun. Shelby’s already talking launch party for Brigitte’s Battle, so I know she and Joe enjoyed the experience too.
Glad it went well for you. Yeah on the email list. Next thing you know you’ll be a full time writer.
Thanks, George. That’s the goal.
