If you read my previous post on the subject (“Counting Chickens“, part of the CW blog chain’s July “Celebrate” chain), you’ll know I believe that sometimes you do need to count your chickens while they’re still eggs if you want to see them hatch. I did that, so now it’s time to inventory the hatchlings…

We had a steady stream of traffic, including regulars of the cafe, friends I haven’t seen in a long time, a couple of relatives who are getting ready to move out of state but wanted to stop by before they vacate, and some other folks who saw my press releases. I got a good start on an email list and sold 10 copies of Chantal’s Call, a full third of the inventory on hand.

Even though the excerpt in the back of Chantal’s Call says it’s due to release next March, you won’t have to wait that long (barring unforeseen circumstances).
